I was surfing the internet looking around for some housing assistance grants. I am getting ready to buy a house and it needs a little work done on it so someone said it might be possible for me to get a grant to do this work. I accidently came upon this site and started reading. My goodness I sure do understand some of your problems, I went through about 3 years of hard times and it was pretty rough. It was so challenging at times I didn't even want to be around anymore.  I held on to my faith and grace and finally it ended. I am hear to tell you if you don't have children you don't get any help!! I am beyond child bareing years so I couldn't do that either. So I was stuck in a situation and diggin deeper into poverty. I went to bed many nights crying, lonely and desperate for anyone to help me or to show kindness, I don't have a partner prior to my sickness I had been divorced for 4 years so I was alone. Through all this I got close with God my Creator and have a wonderful and enduring relationship with him now. So many things have open up for me because I didn't lose my faith, I am buying a house and it is an exciting time for me. I am happy and content and this move will open up more doors for me in the near future. I must add though I do believe alot of these post are begging scams, I wasn't born last night !!  I would advice you all to be very careful and if you do want to help someone built a relationship with them first and you will be able to feel their energy and know if they are real or fake. I know for some it is real and as real as it was for me, I lost everything I had even my pride so don't give up and sometimes it is meant for us to go through hell to learn lessons to be a better you !! I am trying to understand your problem, where do you get $ 640.00? The going rate is 674.00. Once in a while a person with a very high paying educated job might get more, but your well educated and get less? I cannot imagine you being alone in this world with your looks don't you have a partner?

If all this is true God is surely trying to get your attention, try and be still and listen. Sometimes he makes one stop and doesn't answer waiting for you to be still so you can hear what God is saying to you.

YOU HAVE NON/DISABLED ON YOUR PROFILE THEN YOU STATE YOU HAVE YOUR DISABILITY? WHICH IS IT? iF YOU HAVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILTY THEN YOU HAVE A MEDICAL CARD OR SOME KIND OF MEDICAL AID.. MAKES ME WONDER HOW MANY ON HERE REALLY NEED HELP. 

Mandi, If your living in MOLD it is VERY UNSAFE !! My goodness report this to the health office ASAP ! THIS IS A VIOLATION AND THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE !! Your child or you could die!! Seems like he is aeady having health problems. Get up and do something !!

You have a very good outlook on life and Our God. He will always be there for you, it may not be exactly what you want, but I promise you he will be. Sometimes things happen to make you sit and think too about what your life is all about and how you can make postive changes. One time I had a very bad situation and lost my house and my car which was paid for. I had to sell it to pay for medication or I was going to die. I end up moving into a govt. apt which I hated, but had no choice. You may have to do the same if you don't get your extention. I also had family memebers who didn't seem to care if I lived or died, to bad.. cause there is a thing called karma, and most of them are getting theirs now. I hate it for them, but I didn't casue it and now they are on the same street I was on years ago. Hard times can make you inspect your life and your spiritual life as well, be open minded and dedicated and lots of prayers ! If you can be still and listen then you will find the answers for a better life.  People who have no dependants and live alone have the hardest times, cause there is help, much help out there for parents with children, but not any help for single people. All my children are grown and have children of their own so I didn't qualify for any assistance except for low income housing and food stamps. Not even medical coverage. I know for a fact there is help out there for people with children at your local food stamp office..

I am not trying to be mean when I post comments on here, I just want everyone to know that cause I am very straight forward and been there, done that kind of person. Life can throw you some curves that is for sure, but reading some of these post makes me wonder if alot of these users are just looking for a hand out? I am not totally saying that in your case, but there are loop holes just as well. First off your profile says your an apartment manager, then you say you live out in the rural country where transportation isnt feesible, which your kids could ride the bus!! If your an apartment manager then you know people, so your totally alone! Most managers have lots of friends, at least the ones I know do. I am sorry to hear about your cancer, it is terrible to feel helpless when in such need. I would suggest you seek out assistance with your state govt. in getting a medical card? If you have children at home you probably already get a medical card unless you make a great amount in your job? The medical card will help pay for your cancer treatments. They also have a program that assist you in getting a car or possibly pay this loan and if your car is torn up or not running properly they will fix it. That program also assist in getting insurance. It is a program that they don't talk about much but trust me it is there!! So your husband is dead, don't you get a check and the children from that? Seems like something isn't just right here and I cannot put my finger on it? I just know that when a parent dies the children are taken care of by means of some social security check.  So you must had been behind in your car payment for many months for the amount to be so high? I don't know like I said something just doesn't add up here.. I do wish you the best though and let me know how things turn out?

If you are disabled then you get a monthly check and so does your daughter. you most likely get medical coverage and food stamps. You can go buy a cheap phone at the dollar store and hook it up in your home and you will have connection to 911 in case of an emergency. You can also check with your local telephone company if your disabled, food stamps, medical card then you can get a phone with very little down maybe nothing down and then a very cheap local service for around 25 dollars a month. Cell phones are a luxurey and if you cannot have one it isn't right to ask people to pay for it. Why should anyone pay for your bill, just because you mismanaged it and it got cut off you expect people to help you out on that? Man that is so wrong !!

Stop wasting time with that company and move toward a greater job or any kind of job for that matter at least you would have something coming in to help you. I just don't understand how anyone would go out and borrow money knowing they cannot pay it back? That is a big jump in Rent, I have never seen any rent go up 245.00 before in my life. If your a retiree do you live in Govt. assisting houseing? Which if you do the 240 for rent sound about right? Usually they are based of 1/3 of your income. It seem or looks to me that you don't have good management skills after reviewing your post, you go out and borrow money to help yourself then it doesn't, then you go to some other place to borrow more money to help that loan and it still doesn't? Your chasing your tail round and around getting no where. Sometimes it is our own fault we fall on our face, but I promise you, you will learn from it and manage better in the near future. If you contact your electric company they will lead you to some programs to assist in paying for your bills. In different states they are called LIHELP PROGRAMS  and you might try getting a job. Mcdonalds is always hiring. You look healthy and young are you on disability or what? Also some churches might help you they have them in every town across America! Seek and you shall find.
